Supply is not demand
A network can encourage contributors to provide compute, connectivity, storage, or sensor data. The presence of contributors does not establish that customers value the service. Keep these observations separate.
A useful comparison
Compare availability, service quality, verification, and total customer cost with conventional alternatives. Identify which parts require decentralization and which benefit from a simpler service design.
Look for evidence
An independent customer workflow, reproducible service measurements, and transparent incentive accounting are useful starting points. Do not substitute token activity for evidence of an operating service.
